Learn more about HUTLC
The Harvard Undergraduate Taiwan Leadership Conference (HUTLC) is dedicated to sending Harvard College students to work with Taiwan's best and brightest high school students. As a joint effort by the Harvard Undergraduate Taiwan Leadership Conference team and National Taipei University, HUTLC seeks to foster a creative, critical and collaborative environment that can develop strong leaders who can impact their communities, whether in Taiwan or elsewhere.
Our classes are discussion-oriented and invite everyone to participate and share their ideas. We strive to move away from a lecture-style and rote memorization approach to education. We foster an open, respectful and healthy environment for exchange among the teachers and students, allowing students to learn from teachers and teachers to learn just as much from students as well.
All participants in the conference are required to speak English for the entire duration of the conference at all times, creating a unique English-only environment.
